Olivia Medical Anthropology

At our most recent Anthropology Club meeting, we hosted a guest speaker who has a degree in Biological Anthropology. She is now well out of undergrad, as well as graduate school. During the meeting she provided insight about the college courses she had the opportunity to take through this major, including the split of science courses and anthropology courses she took, and what research she’s been involved in. It was highly impactful on the students who came to the club because of the little prior knowledge they have on this topic, and what its studies mean in the college setting. It was super interesting to hear from someone who went through the courses first hand, and could share experiences about her passion!
