Social stresses and anxiety

It’s human nature to possess morals that determine the decisions we make on a daily basis. We live by these principles, and what our mind deems right and wrong. The morals created are significant to each respective individual. Due to the effects that Covid had on our society, stress was developed around interacting with other people. Plenty of pressure was centered around Covid and testing positive, and therefore many effects spiraled from just the idea alone of contracting it. Our society was then faced with the question of whether or not we should bend our morals in order to see the people important to us. Are you willing to risk getting Covid to see someone you love? This question overwhelmed the minds of citizens all around the world. And it meant more to some than others. Even in my own life this question lingered in the minds of some friends and family. Someone ever so close to you could choose solitude over seeing you. It then becomes more challenging to see another’s perspective if it differs from yours. With differing perspectives comes disagreement. These differing views then can jeopardize a long term relationship and cause tension between two individuals. Then, one further questions their morals due to this pressure. All in all, you are led back to square one to what your priorities and core values are. Are you willing to sacrifice your values to relieve social pressure?
